System Overview
The durable Silicone MB system is comprised of our 7860-LO series low-odor silicone roof coating. 7860-LO series is a single-component, low-odor, room-temperature vulcanizing, weather-protective coating; it is Energy Star and Cool Roof Ratings Council (CRRC) approved, and meets LEED requirements (see the 7860-LO Product Data Sheet for LEED details).
Silicone MB forms a seamless, monolithic weatherproofing membrane for superior waterproofing, durability, flexibility, color retention and potential energy savings. Silicone technology allows the system to perform under ponding water conditions. It is intended for long-term protection for institutional, commercial, industrial, and high-rise/multi-family residential applications.

Technical Documents
Is a moisture analysis required prior to the installation of Silicone MB?
A moisture analysis is not required, but is highly recommended prior to the start of work.
Can Silicone MB be applied in one pass?
For warranty purposes, Neogard recommendeds that Silicone M be applied in multiple passes on modified bitumen cap sheets.
Are seam details required for the Silicone MB system?
Yes. All seams should be detailed with 70695 silicone mastic at a rate of 65 wet mils at 4” wide.
What warranties are available for Silicone MB?
We offer Material Only and Labor/Material Warranties for 10, 15, and 20 year terms.
Do you have to be an approved applicator to install Neogard warranted systems?
You do not have to be an approved applicator to purchase material and receive a Material Warranty. You must be a Certified Applicator to receive a Labor/Material Warranty.
