System Overview
The durable Silicone HS MB system is comprised of our 7870 series high solids silicone roof coating. 7870 series is a single-component, moisture-cured, weather-protective coating; it meets South Coast AQMD VOC standards, and is Energy Star and Cool Roof Ratings Council (CRRC) approved. Silicone HS MB is intended for long-term protection over smooth and granulated cap sheet, modified bitumen and smooth built-up roof substrates. It is not intended for use directly over gravel-surfaced built-up roof substrates.
Silicone HS MB forms a seamless, monolithic weatherproofing membrane for superior waterproofing, durability, flexibility, and potential energy savings. Silicone technology allows the system to perform under ponding water conditions. It is intended for long-term protection for institutional, commercial, industrial, and high-rise/multi-family residential applications.

Is a moisture analysis required prior to the installation of Silicone HS MB?
A moisture analysis is not required, but is highly recommended prior to the start of work.
Can Silicone HS systems be applied in one pass?
Yes. Innovacoatings 7870 HS Silicone can be applied up to 45 wet mils in a single pass. For longer term warranties we recommend that 7870 be applied in two passes to ensure proper coverage.
Are seam details required for the Silicone HS MB system?
Yes. All seams should be detailed with 70695 silicone mastic at a rate of 65 wet mils at 4” wide.
What warranties are available for Silicone HS MB?
We offer Material Only and Labor/Material Warranties for 10, 15, and 20 year terms.
Do you have to be an approved applicator to install Innovacoatings warranted systems?
You do not have to be an approved applicator to purchase material and receive a Material Warranty. You must be a Certified Applicator to receive a Labor/Material Warranty.
