System Overview
Perma-Gard III uses Neogard 7401 urethane to create a seamless waterproofing barrier. 7401 is easy to apply, and meets South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) VOC requirements. This system requires a protection course; refer to the system Guide Specification for more information.

Does Perma-Gard III require a primer?
No. A primer is not required, but a primer can be used if desired.
Does Perma-Gard III require a protection/drainage board?
For split-slab applications, a protection or drainage board is required.
Can Perma-Gard III be applied at 60 mils in a single application?
Innovacoatings recommends applying the 7401 urethane in two coats to reach 60 mils. This will ensure the 7401 cures properly.
Can the 7401 urethane be thinned?
Yes. The 7401 urethane can be thinned up to 10% using 08080 Hempel’s Thinner (xylene).
