A non-waterproofing system for concrete surfaces that are subjected to moderate to extreme vehicular traffic. High-solids epoxy combined with aggressive aggregates.
Epoxy Broadcast Overlay
High-solids epoxy system for vehicular traffic decks, available in moderate, heavy dute, and extreme versions
System Overview
Innovacoatings Epoxy Broadcast Overlay is a non-waterproofing system designed to withstand the heaviest vehicular traffic. Utilizing our 70750/70751 Low-Modulus Epoxy or 70714-70715-09 epoxy, and aggressive aggregates like aluminum oxide and flint, it provides high durability and positive grip. Three versions of the system are available: Moderate to Heavy Duty, Heavy Duty, and Extreme. The Moderate system has an optional FC7540/FC7964 urethane topcoat for UV-exposed applications.
Use Area:
Heavy Vehicular Traffic
Type:
Epoxy Coating
Features:
- Low modulus epoxy
- Flint aggregate blend (Series 1)
- Aluminum oxide aggregate option (Series 2 & 3)
Benefits:
- Provides stress relief and resistance to mechanical and thermal movements
- Provides durability and high degree of texture (Series 1)
- Provides the highest durability of aggregates with a similar appearance of silica quartz aggregate (Series 2 & 3)

Technical Documents
How long does Epoxy Broadcast need to cure before opening to traffic?
Typically the coating needs to cure 24 hours before opening to traffic. In cooler temperatures this time may be 36-48 hours.
What type concrete curing compounds can be used with Epoxy Broadcast?
It is best to water cure concrete or use a sodium silicate curing compound. The use of acrylic or other “film forming” compounds will create bond issues and must be removed.
What is the minimum temperature at which Epoxy Broadcast can be applied?
The coating should be applied at temperatures that are 50°F/10°C and rising during application.
Can different aggregates be utilized with the Epoxy Broadcast Overlay system?
Yes. Silica, flint, aluminum oxide and other aggregates may be used with the system. Much depends on expected service to which the system may be exposed.
You can trust Epoxy Broadcast Overlay in your next project
High-performance protection tested under the harshest environments. Epoxy Broadcast Overlay is a high-solids epoxy non-waterproofing system designed to enhance the stress relief and resistance to mechanical and thermal movements of any concrete surface while standing the potential damage of heavy vehicular traffic.
