Auto-Gard FC provides outstanding adhesion, crack bridging, and abrasion resistance. It is ideal for interiors and other odor-sensitive applications where fast turnaround is required.
Auto-Gard FC
Two component, fast cure, low odor urethane system with an aliphatic topcoat, for fast turnaround and/or odor sensitive applications
System Overview
Auto-Gard FC’s low odor and fast curing allows for vehicular traffic 24-36 hours after installation. Allows quick installation of full coating system, and is compatible with the most stringent VOC regulations. This system is ideal for work in or near occupied buildings where odor may be an issue.
Auto-Gard FC provides a seamless, durable, skid-resistant membrane, preventing ingress of moisture and chloride intrusion that lead to premature deterioration.
Maintain the structural integrity and appearance of your investments with Auto-Gard FC, and prolong the lifecycle of your structure while reducing cost over time with proper maintenance.

Technical Documents
How long does Auto-Gard FC need to cure before opening to vehicular traffic?
Typically the coating needs to cure 24 hours before opening to vehicular traffic. In cooler temperatures this time may be 24-36 hours.
What type concrete curing compounds can be used with Auto-Gard FC?
It is best to water cure concrete or use a sodium silicate curing compound. The use of acrylic or other “film forming” compounds will create bond issues and must be removed.
What is the minimum temperature at which Auto-Gard FC can be applied?
The coating should be applied at temperatures that are 40°F/4°C and rising during application.
What is the maximum concrete temperature that Auto-Gard FC can be applied?
The coating should not be applied to deck surfaces that are =/> 100°F/37°C.
You can trust Auto-Gard FC in your next project
High-performance protection tested under the harshest environments. Auto-Gard FC was developed to endure intense vehicular traffic while providing a seamless, durable, skid-resistance membrane to prevent the ingress of moisture and chloride intrusion.
